Who We Are
A physician-founded company building the future of women’s health
Diosa Ara does two things at once. We run a clinical practice delivering personalized pregnancy care today — and we build the Labora Collective, the organizing infrastructure for women’s health. One funds the other. There is no venture capital behind us. Women fund women.
Our Founder
Dr. Yamicia Connor, MD, MBA
Founder & OB/GYN Physician. Dr. Connor is a practicing obstetrician and the architect of an infrastructure company. She founded Diosa Ara to answer a question the system keeps failing: when a pregnant woman walks in during a crisis, is her team watching — in the moment, not after the fact?
That question shapes everything. The practice delivers the care. The revenue builds the infrastructure. And the infrastructure — the Labora Collective — is how that question gets answered at scale, for women far beyond any single clinic.
Pillar One
The Practice
Personalized pregnancy counseling, clinical consultations, educational resources, and round-the-clock emergency advocacy — centering the women the healthcare system has failed most. This is Diosa Ara’s real, funded, current offering, and it’s the revenue engine for everything else.
For Patients →Pillar Two
The Labora Collective
The organizing infrastructure for women’s health — the Bloomberg of maternal health. Diosa Ara is the obstetrical emergency infrastructure company behind it, designing real-time clinical accountability systems and building a community, marketplace, and intelligence platform for the entire field.
Explore the Collective →Mission
To harness scientific rigor and compassionate care — and to build the shared infrastructure women’s health has always lacked — transforming maternal health outcomes and dismantling systemic disparities.
